Very nice crib mattress!

We are pleased with this mattress. My four month old son slept longer at a stretch than he has for a while the first time we put him down on the mattress. As promised, it fits the crib snugly, is easy to clean, and seamless. All the sheets fit very well. It is an excellent product.

Still sleeping great almost two years later!

We chose the Moonlight Slumber Supreme All-Foam mattress for our little boy when he was born June 2006. Almost two years later, he still sleeps wonderfully (12 to 13 hours per night). He loves being in his crib, and usually falls asleep almost instantly. The mattress is still in perfect condition and is so easy to clean. We are definitely going to get the same mattress for our little girl due in a couple of months. Well worth the money!!

Worth the price

We’ve had this mattress for almost 4 years. It’s being used by our second child now, and still looks and feels like new. Though it seemed like an expensive purchase initially, I have no regreats and urge anyone who can afford it to buy this. My favorite feature is the covering. It’s a soft, pliable waterproof material that’s not the least bit crunchy, and feels like buttery leather or stretchy vinyl. This makes it SUPER easy to wipe clean, and there’s NO need for any waterproof pad or other mattress-protection/pad. It’s also very quiet when you lay down your baby. I can’t believe how crunchy and loud some of the other “waterproof” matress coverings are out there. Forget waking up baby, crunchy bedding just can’t be comfortable. Also, because it has NO raised seams and squared-off (not rounded) corners, this fits PERFECTLY into the crib with NO weak spots or gaps in any corner. No worries about kids getting a leg or arm pinched between the mattress and crib, not even when they are old enough to stand and “bounce” in the crib–not that there’s much bounce b/c of the foam construction. The memory foam is also a nice touch. It’s a very thin layer on top of super-firm high-density foam, so it’s not like the memory foam toppers or mattresses out there for adults. It’s still, overall, a very firm sleeping surface for babies, with just a tiny bit of that memory foam padding for comfort. The whole mattress is lightweight, making it easy to pull out for changing sheets. Compared to the pricey, traditional, coil crib mattresses out there, this is a no-brainer. Compared to the inexpensive mattresses available, those simply can’t compare when you take all these wonderful features into account. You’ll use it for years, so it’s absolutely worth it.

Works great!

I use this bottle feeder occasionally to feed my 6 month old apple sauce or banana’s when we travel or run errands. It is easier to use than a spoon when you are out and about (and less messy). He loves it and I love the easy clean up. I’d recommend this bottle feeder to anyone who wants to use it on occasion.

Feeding baby cereal just got easier

I owned one of these when my son was an infant and bought this set for some friends of mine. They love it. The baby gets cereal at her last feeding before bed and sleeps all night. Teaching the baby to eat from a spoon can be very frustrating for the baby if they dont get enough to eat before bed. This bottle was invaluable to me and my friends use it all the time. You can’t find them in stores anymore and finding it here on Amazon at such a good price was great.

Just OK

This bag is certainly roomy and the canvas is sturdy. The strap is wide enough to be comfortable even with a heavy load, and the large compartment gives you room to make this bag very heavy indeed.

I bought this to use for school but unfortunately with it so large, there is nothing to give it any shape once you put books in it. If the bag is underfilled, things just flop around inside, giving the bag a collapsed shape that makes it awkward to lug around, but to fill it can make it uncomfortably heavy.

Of the four outside pockets, two of them are not covered by the main flap, and none of them have a way to secure their contents. Anything you put in there is going to slide out if you toss this bag around, and if it rains the stuff on the outside will be wet. The “zippered pouch” on the inside is tiny and fairly useless as well, almost an afterthought.

Most disappointing of all was the fact that the flap is held down by two strips of velcro on the front of the bag. It doesn’t seem secure enough to be the only thing holding this bag closed with the kind of weight it is capable of carrying. A drawstring or zipper for the main compartment would be welcome to better secure the bag’s contents and make it easier to carry when not fully loaded.

In short, an OK bag for short trips, and certainly durable enough to last for years, but too frustrating to kick around every day for school.

It is HUGH!

Ever read Harry Potter? Really, the bag is like Arthur Weasley’s magically enlarged car trunk.

It is just about as big as any other messenger bag looking from outside. But this is what I have in it today:

- A 13′ laptop, with a laptop sleeve
- A hardcover textbook. Specifically it’s Mussardo’s Statistical Field Theory. Just think of it as that brick of a calculus textbook you had back in the frshman year.
- Two 100-sheet spiral notebooks.
- A Microsoft Arc mouse in the zipper pocket.
- Pencil pouch, umbrella, etc.

The materials seem sturdy, and it is overall well constructed. Simple, roomy, and sturdy. What else can you possibly want from a messenger bag? (No, none of them will do your math homework for you.)

Excellent for School

I was getting a new laptop and needed a larger messenger bag to carry around my high school. This was one of the larger options out there so I knew it would have room to carry around all of my large textbooks and binders plus my laptop around the school. I think it has worked out excellently, because the side pockets are very large and they fit a lot of stuff, plus the back pencil pocket. I like especially how there’s a border around the top of the bag when you remove the flip over cover. I highly recommend this for someone who needs space for school.

Argh – Amazon’s sizes aren’t correct!

Maybe this is a good product? I guess I will find out in 6 months or so? I was suspicious when I ordered this when the size chart was for generic Amazon “baby” sizes, but took a chance anyway. That was a mistake. Now I have a swim diaper that won’t fit till my girl gains a good 6 pounds. WTG Amazon.

Here is the size chart from the actual product tag:

Small: 10-18 pounds; 6-months
Medium: 18-22 pounds; 12 months
Large: 22-25 pounds; 18 months
X-Lrge: 25-30 pounds; 24 months

WILL hold the Poo!

I used these diapers with my son for 5 months last year, in both swimming pools and a fresh water lake. He weighed around 25-28lbs and wore 18mo sized pants for most of that time, so the Large fit perfectly – you Have to have a snug fit in the legs. They are a bit sheer when wet, but the padding in the crotch area make it still ok to use w/o swim trunks over them if you forget them.

Most important – THEY DO HOLD IN POO! Between my husband and I, we had at least 3 big poos over the summer – and the diapers NEVER LEAKED POO. That being said, because you have to peel the diaper down off the kid, it is almost impossible to get the poopy diapers off w/o a bit of a mess. But at least you don’t have to worry about causing a health crisis/shutting down the local pool b/c of a poo leak.

They wash easily, and even survive a few accidental runs through the dryer. We took swim lessons 2-3 times a week, and only needed 3 diapers to get us through the summer.

One last note – don’t change into the swim diaper until you are ready to get in the pool. Like all swim diapers, they are designed to hold in the poo, not urine. So if he wets himself on the way to the pool wearing the swim diaper, everything is going to get soaked.

This pad fit my older changing table perfectly (true to the size: 34.5″ x 17″ x 1″). It is firm enough to provide padding without being uncomfortable. Other reviewers have mentioned difficulty finding covers for this pad – I have always used a king-sized pillow case. This way you can pick your color, fabric type, and etc.

Good Flat Changing Pad

While I prefer changing diapers on the floor, I do like using a full size flat changing pad. I had good results with this pad. The changing side was fairly durable. The other side is of thinner plastic, but it still OK. I have found it harder to find a flat, full size, changing pad. This is a fairly good one.

No well made covers to fit this pad

Love the way this pad fits my table, and do not like the curved pads, but there are no cotton or organic covers that fit well or are well made to use on this size pad, even though I bought the pad new. Where are the covers for this?? I would think that Summer Infant would make a cover to fit this product it sells, but when I attempted to call them to ask (I got NO response by emailing them) I sat on hold for 20 minutes with no answer/customer service. Pretty disappointing, and still have no idea where to get a good cover that is well made of natural materials.

Great toy in its cathegory, but you should know this…

My wife and I had been looking for a toy like this for some time. We wanted a place for our daughter (3 months old), where she could lie down and explore and play with various toys. Both to help stimulate her, but also to give my wife a break during the day. We looked at a multitude of these toys and concluded this would suit our needs the best.

It has proved to be great. I couldn’t help noticing that these people really seem to have put some thought into the whole toy. To my knowledge there are no other toys like it with an inflatable ring to help the baby sit up.

In the beginning we didn’t inflate the ring, we thought the toy would work just as well when the base was all flat. It worked decently, but our daughter could not reach all of the toys, some would be in her face. Now we have it inflated and its playability has increased tremendously because of this. She can even fall asleep all quietly while playing with it. Great for any new parents!

Of negative points you should know that:

- The inflatable ring is VERY difficult to inflate. No one will have the lung power and stamina to inflate it all in one go!

- We washed the whole toy, and the colours fade quickly if machinewashed.

- Some of the toys (the red and yellow sun) has a tendency to upset our daughter. She simply gets so agressive, that she is screaming with anger while trying to tear it apart.

Positive things, you can’t know:

+ The individual toys are very durable (apart from the colours). They have been machinewashed (I am sure the manufacturer is horrified now), also the electronic ones. They still work impeccably!

Love it, love it, love it!

I originally bought this toy because my six-month-old baby seemed to be losing interest in his other playgym, that is, he would roll away after five minutes of batting at the toys. As a stay-at-home mom, I needed a safe place to rest my playpen-hating baby so that I could get some housework done. I figured that, at the very least, this playnest’s doughnut shape would keep him from rolling from room to room while I made a meal, etc. Well, hallelujah, he likes it so much that I can make a meal and maybe even a phonecall while he entertains himself. First, I start out by putting him on his back to swat at the toys hanging from the pretend “sky” — a fabric sun, moon, bird, etc. Each toy does something fun like crinking, rattling, or playing music. You also can adjust the height of each toy with the enclosed plastic rings. Next, I prop him inside the ring for some sitting practice. Finally, I lean him stomach-down on the side of the innertube so that he can play with the activities on the fabric cover, including a crinkly fabric door that opens and closes, different-textured fabrics, and a squeaky duck bill. This playnest is my salvation. What don’t I like? Well, the vertical posts that form the pretend sky pop inwards periodically. It looks a little strange, but it doesn’t affect the toy’s playing potential. Second, contrary to the product info on the box, I don’t think this playnest is suitable for a very young baby. There’s not enough room to lay the baby completely flat at the bottom, and a tiny infant would be uncomfortable propped against the sides like the baby pictured on the box (I’m guessing that poor kid rolled right over as soon as the picture was taken!) But, provided that your baby has at least some sitting ability (even with help), I recommend this toy wholeheartedly!

Great toy – buy it if you can get it!

I spent a long time looking around all the toy shops and online to see what there was for little babies. My son, Toby, at 4 months, did not like just lying on his back and watching things hanging above. The beauty of this toy is that you can safely put your baby in a semi-reclining position and not need to worry that he will fall out. He loved it from the moment he was put in it. All those bright colours and textures and noises facinated and excited him. He loved the upright position and soon he managed to sit up all by himself.

He is now 8 months old and we have removed the baby gym part. He lies happily in his ring reading his books – almost like grownups lounging in the sun on holiday. Or hangs over the side trying to catch his other toys which he had thrown out.

Your baby will love it – as have all the other reviewers. Great toy.

Great product

We love this sheets! They fit our Kolcraft bassinet perfectly and are excellent quality. The cotton is extremely light and soft. Not crispy or rough like other sheets I had purchased from a store (and then later returned). We ordered several of these sheets after getting the first set!

SOME PROS and CONS

I have tried numerous infant carriers and here’s what I noticed. Either it has great Lumbar support and not so great carrier section for baby (or doesn’t put baby in suggested seated position with legs not dangling downward), OR it has great baby carrier section and not so great lumbar support.

In the case of this carrier, it has a really nice carrier section for baby. The material is padded, provides excellent support for baby’ bottom, back, neck and head, and is fully adjustable. However, because the back strap fastens both shoulder straps together from the top section of your back, it does put more of a strain on your shoulders and neck and does not distribute the weight evenly. My baby weighs 20 pounds so it may be more noticeable for me than for you if you have a lighter infant. Also the shoulder straps have several snap buttons (so you can adjust the back strap)that can be felt on your back while you wear it. I wish they would have padded those areas. This is a design flaw to me. If it had better lumbar support and was not missing padding in small areas where snaps are, I would have given it 5 stars. But I do still like it and it is really comfortable for my baby.

I decided to give it 4 stars for the construction on the infant carrier and this is why I decided to keep it. It seemed the best one for my baby and I have figured out a way to alter it by sewing to fix the issue.

Love it!

I had another set on my registry, but the moment I saw this set my mind had changed. I absolutely love the pattern on this set and appreciate that it is so different from the conventional animals or sports themes for boys.

The quality is great and finding things to coordinate has been fun and simple since the colors are blue and white it hasn’t been tricky. I only wish they would have more accesories to go along with like perhaps the lamp and accent rug… that would be nice.

Nautical Nursery Dream

This is the best nautical bedding available. I looked everywhere. I surfed the web for months and went to every baby store within 50 miles for our house!

The fabric is soft and cuddly. This set is very modern, not too babyish. This set was bought for our second son. With our first we did the bright Winnie-the-Pooh, but he outgrew that real quick. This set is defenitly something he can grow with.

I would reccommend this set to anyone!!!!!!

LOVE IT!!!

I was looking for something diffrent for my New arrivals nursery, i had picked out like 3 diffrent bed sets then i saw this one and instantly fell in love with it, i thought it was kinda of expensive but it is Nautica and once i got it home and set up the crib it looked so, so nice, the quality of the fabric was unbelivable and everyone who has seen the nursery has commented on the bed set. I am very pleased with my nursery and just recently got the border i was on a waiting list that was the only set back to the set, and i can not find any matching decorations for the walls.
